Opel is introducing its new design style this year, which debuted in the second generation of the small Mokka SUV. Shortly afterwards, the brand’s second representative in this segment, the Crossland model, also received a new style as part of the modernization. Now the innovated car is coming to the Czech market and revealing its prices.
Despite the changes made, Crossland remains the available crossover as before. With the basic atmospheric three-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 61 kW, you can buy it for as little as 349,990 crowns. The supercharged three-cylinder 1.2 Turbo with an output of 81 kW and, in addition, a six-speed manual, will then cost at least 389,990 crowns. An interesting choice, however, can be a stronger 1.2 Turbo with 96 kW, for which only 10,000 crowns pay extra against the weaker version.

These price tags are linked to the basic Edition stage, which includes lane departure warning, six airbags, rain and light sensors, LED headlights, manual air conditioning or a multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. There is also a leather steering wheel, cruise control, on-board computer, electric windows and heated exterior mirrors, remote-controlled central locking and 16-inch steel wheels.
The second level is called Elegance and is worth 40,000 crowns. For this amount, you get dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an ergonomic driver’s seat with an AGR certificate, upholstery combining fabric with leather, ambient interior lighting or alloy wheels.
The highlight is the Ultimate with keyless unlocking, rear parking sensors, more advanced front full-LED headlights (so-called AFL) with automatic switching of low and high beams, front fog lights, LED tail lights, navigation, upholstery with alcantara or double floor in the boot. The hallmark of Ultimate is also a contrasting black roof or 17-inch wheels.
The individual stages can then be equipped with various elements. The combination of heated front seats and steering wheel will cost 12,000 crowns for all stages, parking sensors including a reversing parking camera at 18,000 crowns. For Elegance, you can also buy one of the new features of the Crossland facelift for CZK 14,000, the IntelliGrip system, aka a driving mode selector that improves traction on various types of surfaces. It is then the standard for Ultimate.
As part of the modernization, the Opel Crossland lost the letter X in the name, which so far emphasized it as a member of the SUV family. The hallmark of the modernized version becomes the reworked bow Opel Vizor in the style new Mocha, which is to gradually appear on all models of the brand. The engines continue to come from the development of PSA, the French brands are known as 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 Blue HDi, and the technical basis in the form of the innovated PF1 platform is shared with Citroën C3 Aircross. In addition, a new sports-tuned GS Line variant is planned for the future, which is still waiting for its domestic awards.
