Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in a clash of two generations. Comparison of graphics from PS4 and PS5

Since the premiere, the websites have focused on comparisons of individual, next-gen versions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. How, however, the title falls in comparison with the “old” consoles. Let’s check it!

Great websites were not interested in comparing the graphics of Valhalla on two-generation consoles. This is where youtuber AbyxGaming stepped in and made an excellent performance Assassin’s Creed Valhalla graphics compilation – this time for PS4 and PS5.

People counting on spectacular visual differences in releases for different generations of consoles may be disappointed in the case of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Yes, the title provides better texture detail and better shading, but not, for example, a greater range of drawing objects or clearly denser vegetation.

The biggest benefit in favor of the PS5 and XSX is of course 60 fps animation mode and about 4 times faster loading times. On PS4, the game generates 30 fps. On the day of the premiere, the title on PS4 was able to lose animation frames quite a lot (framerate drops to around 20 fps), but it seems that the last patch (1.04) clearly improved the situation on the old Sony console.
