Three armed men tried to break through from Ukraine into Russian territory, one of them was shot by border guards, the FSB’s Public Relations Center reported.
The secret service did not name the exact place where the violators tried to break through the border, specifying that it happened on the morning of December 4 at the site of the FSB Border Administration in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
The intruders did not obey the requirements and opened fire on the border guards. In the shootout, one of the violators was fatally wounded, two of his accomplices fled to the territory of Ukraine.
