10,000 Deaths Per Day Due To Covid-19, Globally 1.5 Million People Lose Lives

THE MIND OF THE PEOPLE – More than 1.5 million people have lost their lives due to Covid-19 of which 10,000 people die every day due to the outbreak that was first discovered in Wuhan, China at the end of December 2019.

Quoting Reuters data, half a million deaths occurred in just the last two months, this shows the severity of the pandemic corona virus is far from over.

Globally, nearly 65 million people worldwide have been infected with the outbreak. The worst affected country is the United States which is currently battling the third wave of Covid-19 infections.

In the past week alone, an average of more than 10,000 people worldwide died every day.

Many countries around the world are now battling a second and third waves that are even bigger than the first. This condition forces new restrictions in people’s daily lives.

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) the Covid-19 pandemic caused more deaths in the past year than tuberculosis in 2019 and nearly four times the number of deaths from malaria.

In Indonesia, the average number of deaths due to Covid-19 reported every day has continued to increase over the past 12 days.
