A few days after the official launch, scheduled for 10 December, unless the last hour changes, of theOppo Reno 5 Pro 5G we know almost everything. We also have the official renderings, published by Oppo itself, and we know that the available variants will be at least two (Oppo Reno 5 5G e Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G) but maybe even three (we are talking about a possible Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus 5G).
Few details are still missing to complete the technical data sheet, but we are already able to say that this smartphone will be at the levels of the top of the 2020 range thanks above all to one very good curved screen it’s at so much memory, both RAM and ROM. The rear photographic compartment is also important and the charging is very fast. In short: we are talking about a smartphone with high-level hardware for this year’s standards, which will only be surpassed by the next generation now on the way. As the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 just presented or the Samsung Exynos 2100 coming very soon. The best of the (almost) previous generation, therefore, and therefore a very credible candidate for the title of best buy for all the first months of 2021.
Oppo Reno 5 and 5 Pro 5G: the technical sheet
We officially know that the Reno 5 5G will have a flat screen, while the Pro will have curved screen. Most likely it will be two 6.43-inch Full HD displays with 90Hz refresh rate and will certainly have the front camera in one circular notch positioned at the top left.
The rear photographic compartment will consist of 4 sensors, with the principal being certainly from 64 MP. Equally certain is the presence of technology Super Vooc with 65 Watts of power, for very fast charging. Of course both will be able to connect to 5G networks.
Finally, from the leaks coming from the Chinese sales sites, we learn that both smartphones will be sold in configuration 8/128 GB o 12/256 GB. Memory at will, therefore, to support the SoC that the real doubt remains: for the normal Oppo Reno 5 we talk about Qualcomm Snapdragon 765, for the Pro of the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+. The possible Pro Plus version, which does not appear on the official Oppo website and which could arrive later, would have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
Oppo Reno 5 and 5 Pro 5G: how much they cost and when do they come out
The launch date of Oppo’s two new smartphones is scheduled for December 10, perhaps even earlier. The leaked prices are 380 euros (at current exchange rates) for the Reno 5 5G and 480 euros for the Reno 5 Pro 5G. Prices on the Chinese market, of course, where taxation is lower and transport costs practically zero.
