Hope you got your hands off the mud we’ve been in over the last week with the free MudRunner. Epic did not prepare any spectacular gifts for the Santa Claus season, but the next days will bring us nice titles.
Released in 2004, Cave Story – metroidvania by the one-man Pixel Studio, Daisuke Amaya, delighted gamers and critics alike. The fact that only one person is responsible for production was admirable and, more importantly, foreshadowed the turkey revolution that broke out a few years later.
Cave Story +, the extended 2011 edition of the game, will be downloaded to December 10 FROM THIS PLACE.
Next week, Epic Games Store and Obsidian will give us premature Christmas gifts: Pillars of Eternity (Definitive Edition) and Tyranny (Gold Edition).
