JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Police chief General Idham Azis | said that he would criminalize those who obstructed the police in carrying out the law enforcement process to the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) Rizieq Shihab.
Idham Azis | felt the need to give such warning. This is because his subordinates find it difficult to enforce the law because they are often intercepted by the supporting masses Rizieq Shihab.
As is well known, the Islamic Defenders Army (LPI) – wing organization REIT—Tightly maintain access to the house Rizieq Shihab since there was a crowd in Petamburan, Central Jakarta, which was suspected of having violated the health protocol Covid-19.
Several times the police visited Petamburan, but were intercepted by LPI lines. They did not allow the police to enter Rizieq’s house even though it was only to send a summons for investigation.
