Figures continue to go in the right direction

The corona figures are still going in the right direction.

In the period from November 22 to 28, an average of 2,305 people a day became infected with COVID-19, a decrease of 29 percent. The average number of deaths also continues to fall. The most recent seven-day average indicates 123 deaths per day, a decrease of more than a quarter. The number of hospital admissions is also going in the right direction. Nearly 30,000 corona tests per day

Currently, approximately 29,400 tests are administered per day. That number remains more or less stable. An average of 9.7 percent of all those tests came back positive. Yesterday / Tuesday, that positivity ratio dropped below 10 percent for the first time. There are now still 3,707 corona patients in the hospital, a decrease of 8 percent compared to the previous period. The number of patients in intensive care units has fallen below 900.
