Jokerit defeated Salavat Julayev 3: 1 (1: 1, 0: 0, 2: 0).

32 goals were taken in this match through the goal guarded by Kalniņš, and the Latvian dealt with 31 of them. He scored the only goal in the first period, when Jevgenijs Lisovecs made the exact throw.
