A shell found buried in Anglet, deminers detonate it on the beach

It was while carrying out work to build a parking lot that employees discovered the shell. It was buried in the courtyard of a residence on avenue des dauphins in Anglet. The national police were notified of the discovery around 12:15 pm Wednesday, December 2, then the deminers intervened. They first moved the shell to be able to detonate it on the Sables d’Or beach (photo above). The craft obviously dated from World War II.
