Despite a disappointing box office, it doesn’t seem over for the Alienfranchise. The most recent film from Ridley Scott, Covenant, traveled to the homeworld of the creators of the Xenomorph and revealed what had happened to them.
It was Scott’s intention to delve deeper into that. But that will not happen due to the disappointing box office. Then it was clear to Fox Noah Hawley could do something. But that studio was taken over by Disney, and Hawley’s work has been hanging by a thread ever since.
Future on television
According to Hawley, his series could still come. “I know there have been some shifts since the Disney takeover. And they are conversations that I had a few years ago. said Hawley.
“But I also know that every studio wants to get the most out of its offer. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case here too.”
“I’m still working on it every now and then. Have conversations sometimes,” said Hawley. Horror is not normally part of Disney’s expertise, but since the merger with Fox, people seem to be open to it. And that on television!
