The ÖAMTC gained a foothold in the state capital as early as 1965. Now the mobility club in Mariazeller Straße wants to create a new and above all modern point of view.
A new building is to be built on a plot of around 6,200 square meters by the end of next year. In the future, the location will not only offer 40 employees a new working environment, but will also be used as a training center for ÖAMTC apprentices and employees.
More and more members
According to the regional director of the transport club Ernst Kloboucnik, the steadily growing number of members was decisive for the change of location and the associated expansion. The ÖAMTC now looks after around 50,000 people in the St. Pölten district. They want to “offer service at the highest possible level”, says Kloboucnik. “The new location offers the necessary space for looking after our members in a modern environment.”
