“So far, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could change the election result,” said William Barr, Minister of Justice and US Attorney General on Tuesday (December 1).

Barr added that his department did not record anything to confirm that the electoral machines were programmed in the US to lead to fraud.
This is the first comment on the fairness of the election process from the US Attorney General since November 3. Earlier in the run-up to the election, this close associate of Trump has repeatedly warned that mass correspondence voting could be a factor in fraud. During his work in the ministry, including during the campaign, the Democrats often accused him of succumbing to pressure from the White House, which the minister rejected.
Democrat Joe Biden announced his election victory, and he can count on 306 votes in the Electoral College. Trump’s 232 electoral votes did not recognize his rival’s victory. He maintains that there were irregularities in the election process and that his camp is filing and announcing further court complaints.
The vast majority of his camp’s election complaints to date have not been successful in the courts. By questioning the official results, the Republican failed to recapture any of the states in which he failed on 3 November. The election results and Biden’s victory have already been certified, among others in key elections such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin. The vote of the Electoral College will take place on December 14.
Following Barr’s comment, President Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer issued a campaign statement stating that the Justice Ministry had so far failed to investigate the elections to an adequate extent.
