BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – A leaked document mentions that China hide up to half of the cases and deaths data Covid-19.
On February 10, for example, China reported 2,478 new cases nationwide but in documents recorded in Hubei alone there were 5,918 cases.
Then on March 7 Hubei province reported a total death toll of 2,986, but in documents the total was 3,456.

Another example is February 17th. Hubei at that time reported 93 deaths as a result corona virus, but the document states 196 patients died.
Then on March 7 Hubei reported 83 cases, but what was recorded in the document was 115.
Another report also noted the deaths of 6 health workers due to Covid-19 on February 10.
Moving further back, the number of cases recorded in 2019 at the start of the corona virus outbreak was 200.
To date China has reported 44 cases in 2019, of which on January 3 were reported to the WHO as “pneumonia of unknown etiology”.

Reporting from Daily Mail on Tuesday (12/1/2020), the documents consisted of 117 pages and were submitted to CNN by a person whistleblower at the Hubei Province Disease Control and Prevention Center, which is the location of the epicenter of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Whistleblower it portrays him as a patriot, motivated to expose censored truths, and respecting colleagues who have also spoken up.
In addition to data on cases and deaths of Covid-19, the document also states that Hubei was actually in a major flu epidemic when Covid-19 struck.
The number of reported cases of seasonal flu in the province increased 20-fold in December 2019, centered on the cities of Yichang and Xianning.
Then Wuhan, where the novel coronavirus first emerged, is the third city worst affected by the seasonal flu epidemic.
The report’s data shows a large number of flu cases, including in Wuhan, have no known cause since December 2.
The researchers told CNN, it is possible that some of them are misdiagnosed cases of the corona virus, but that cannot be confirmed because the data are not available.
Amesh Adalja of Johns Hopkins University who is at the forefront of tracking the coronavirus said, “They are only testing what they know.”
The leaked documents also exposed the chaos of preliminary testing in China, which resulted in cases not being reported.

According to the data, the nucleic acid test which was originally used to diagnose the corona virus was only successful 30-50 percent at the time.
This means scientists are often forced to use other methods – such as lung scans – to diagnose patients who they believe have Covid-19, but who always test negative.
However, the reporting system in “Panda Country” only reports cases that have been confirmed by the test to the public, while the remaining cases are marked as “suspected” or “clinically diagnosed”.
The internal documents also show that Hubei’s health authorities were underfunded, and had problems with staff motivation when the pandemic hit.
