Samsung’s Galaxy Note line made smartphones with large screens popular in the past. Large smartphones are now the standard, and devices from the more popular Galaxy S line have the same format as the Notes. Samsung would now consider not continuing the Note line in 2021, initiate against Reuters. The decision follows a declining demand for expensive smartphones, partly due to the corona pandemic.
The following Galaxy S devices would get a built-in stylus for the first time. That would apply to the Galaxy S21 which is expected in January. In this way, the S line also fulfills the role of the Note line.
The Galaxy Note phones invariably come with a built-in stylus, which allows users to take notes on the screen. Also the following foldable phone from Samsung would be suitable for a stylus.

More foldable phones
The employees who normally work on the Note would now be on the foldable phone team. The Galaxy Note devices have been invariably announced in August for years, and often contain many functions that were already revealed with the latest Galaxy S devices earlier in the year. The Galaxy S devices are often unveiled at the beginning of the year, often in February or March.
The Galaxy Note devices have a high starting price due to their size, around 1000 euros. The Galaxy S line offers equally large and expensive phones, but also has smaller and slightly cheaper entry-level models.
In 2016, the Galaxy Note 7 hit the headlines, when it turned out that the batteries of many copies overheated and sometimes caught fire. Samsung canceled the Note that year, and pulled in all devices worldwide.
