We wrote that at the beginning one floor of the new wing was occupied and there was room for 20 beds, including 5 with respirators. This is called red zone, i.e. for people with severe respiratory failure. All stations are equipped with access to oxygen.
Ewa Leniart, the voivode of Podkarpacie, explained that ultimately the building may have 160 beds, but it will depend on the development of the pandemic. Patients will go to a temporary hospital if the remaining facilities are full. 20 places would be enough until Christmas. It is not known whether fittings will be made to adapt the next floors.
