On Monday, the Association of European Football Federations (UEFA) confirmed that the 36-year-old Frapara will match the matches of Turin “Juventus” and Kiev “Dinamo” on Wednesday at the “Allianz” stadium.
This is the first time a woman has been nominated for the strongest club tournament in Europe.
Last year, Frapara supervised the women’s World Cup final and was the main judge in the UEFA Super Cup match. She also made her UEFA Europa League debut in October.
In September, the Frenchwoman was the main referee in the UEFA League of Nations match, in which Latvia fought a draw 1-1 with Malta.
