A real success for a virtual edition
The spectators, them, could watch from home the films programmed during virtual sessions accessible free of charge against simple reservation.
More than 10,000 spectators attended fourteen screenings during the ten days of the festival.
“I am delighted with the very keen interest in online sessions“specifies Jérôme Baron the artistic director of the festival.
A little too early to know the precise dates of the 2021 edition which should take place as usual “straddling the last fifteen days of November“according to the organization.
It is gold and already planned, however, to return to dark rooms and on the big screen.
Premiers Plans maintained in January 2021
For its part, the Angevin festival of the first European films announces the maintenance of its 33rd edition but in a smaller version.
It is indeed a question of adapting whereas the cinemas do not have to reopen until next December 15 and that the festival normally welcomes 80,000 paying spectators and more than 200,000 schoolchildren.
The Premiers Plans festival will take place from January 21 to 25, 2021 in Angers.
