Kaavan withstood the flight from Pakistan well. He was not stressed, ate and even slept a bit. His journey is not over yet, as he is now transported by truck to a 10,000 hectare nature park in Oddar Meancheay, an hour and a half from Siem Reap.
There Kaavan will be released under supervision in full nature, where many congeners hang out. He will be closely monitored, but it is hoped that the park will also become an amusement park where he can make contact with other elephants. (Read more below the photo).
