DMB develops new campaign for Wiener Städtische

The insurance company continues its cooperation with the advertising agency under the claim # for one another. It was only in September that the Wiener Städtische theme “Lebe das Leben” earned DMB’s creative minds the ADGAR in the services category.

“In this challenging phase in particular, it is important that you pay special attention to each other and look after each other,” says Sonja Steßl (Board Member Wiener Städtische) about the core of the new campaign. The focus is on the story of a boy who, despite constant rejection by a classmate, comes to the rescue at the crucial moment.

“Our #for one another campaign sums up Wiener Städtische’s brand promise – we want your worries to be a concern. We are a stable and reliable partner for our customers even in difficult times – both digitally and personally throughout Austria”, explains Robert Lasshofer, General Director of Wiener Städtische Versicherung.

The story is musically framed by a very own version of the cult song “I’ll stand by you” by the British rock band The Pretenders. The song was rearranged, rehearsed and recorded on its own by the children and youth choir of the Vienna State Opera. The campaign can currently be seen on television across Austria and is reinforced by a radio spot, online advertising formats, social media ads and print ads. The Association of Austrian Newspapers (VÖZ) awarded its ADGAR advertising prize for the 36th time in September. In addition to DDB Vienna and Fuel Austria, Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann (DMB) made it to the first place. The agency was awarded for the life-affirming advertising campaign with the focus on pensions on behalf of Wiener Städtische: “Live life – kiss young / old”.
