In the final episode of the show “Voice in the Mask”, two finalists took the stage – the Wicked and the Doll. Each performed two songs – one that had already been played along the length of the show, the other – a song of the favorite genre or one that was very close to their own heart.
Television viewers on the other side of the screen voted for the finalists’ performance, but the jury continued to reveal new guesses without affecting the final result. Detectives said that drummer Mārcis Judzis, actor Mārtiņš Kozlovskis or Kozmens, patron Jānis Zuzāns and businessman Guntis Indriksons were hiding under the Mask of Evil. However, thoughts about the Detective of the Doll Mask were divided into almost two fronts, unable to agree on whether the musician Dināra Rudāne or the singer Aminata are hiding under it?
After the audience vote, the winner of the first season of the show was won by the Evil One himself, who managed to gain a wide circle of fans for twelve weeks of the show due to his challenging and even shameless image. Unveiling Nelabo, it turned out that Kristaps Strūbergs, a member of the supergroup “Singapore Satin”, is hiding under his mask. Kristaps is also a friend and a member of the detective Krivenchy, who had managed to “bypass” his colleague around the corner during the show, about which Jānis Krīvēns expressed a great surprise.
After exposing, Krivenchy explained: “I knew the voice, but I threw it out of my mind. I wrote “Satin” in parallel to Kristaps, and he answered me! Did he answer me from the box office? Can’t be, I didn’t get anything after the times. I am dumb! ”
Detective Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare hurried to comment on Krivenchy’s failure: “How can you not recognize your group member? You goats! Are you ever clear in that group? I’m sorry, but the word “loser” will be right here. “
Samantin Tina also joined Baiba, blaming Krivenchy: “You are a very bad friend, really!” However, the detective commented positively on Nelabo: “I don’t really have much to say already. I’ve always had bad guys left – you took us out of your nose! But, Wicked, let’s be honest and real, you can give me a phone call, but I don’t know if I’ll call you. You have a wife and two children, I don’t want to be in all this, I better go out with clean papers, but you were great! ”
As a second, the talented Lelli or singer Aminata was exposed, who proved herself in the show as the owner of an impressive voice and a wide range of vocals – she has sung opera songs, pop hits and even metal music in the show! After the unveiling, the detective team was really thrilled and surprised, as Aminata has shown an excellent vocal performance throughout the show and has been able to surprise the detectives every time.
“Aminata, you are such a piggy bank! At no point could it be said that it was you! ” excitedly expressed Samantha Tina. Samanta asked if the talented singer had mastered academic music, but Aminata denied it, saying that she used to “sing in the shower”.
Asked how Aminta enjoyed participating in the show, the singer admitted: “It was very exciting, I had a passion for myself, I wanted to think of something every week so that I would not guess me! Many thanks to vocal teacher Karina Tropa, who helped me with the choice of songs and ideas, without her I would not have been so far away and would not have been able to show myself so different! ”
