Canon admits employee data is stolen by hackers, this is the culprit

The data stolen by hackers included employee names, including social security numbers, birth dates, driver’s licenses, bank account numbers, and electronic signatures of current and former employees.

Previously, Maze was responsible for a number of cyber attacks against major organizations, including LG, Xerox, Allied Universal, Southwire, City of Pensacola and Canon.

However, earlier this month (November 1), the hacker group officially closed down its operations that had started about a year and a half earlier in May 2019.
