HOOGERHEIDE – The explosion of a fireworks bomb that blew up the front door of the home of Mayor Steven Adriaansen van Woensdrecht on Saturday night, is not the first serious incident at the home of a politician in that municipality. In July, heavy fireworks were thrown inside the house of CDA party chairman Ad Pijnen, which led to a lot of damage. Just like last night with the mayor, there were no injuries.
