Ketabi Al-Hussein, the media spokesperson for the Moroccan club, Nahdet Berkane, confirmed that his club is committed to playing the African Super Cup against Al-Ahly outside Cairo, as was scheduled by the Confederation of African Football earlier.
The media spokesman for the Moroccan club, Nahdet Berkane, said in statements to the Number One program: “CAF has not informed us of the date of the match between Al-Ahly and the African Super Cup yet, and we stick to playing in Qatar as early as was scheduled.”
He added, “In the event that the African Super match is not held in Qatar, we will stick to holding the meeting on neutral soil, so that the chances of the two teams will be equal.”
Mohamed Fadl, a member of the five-year committee that manages the Football Association, confirmed that the African Super Confrontation will be held in Cairo on the tenth of next December.
After Al-Ahly achieved the CAF Champions League at the expense of Zamalek, it is scheduled to face Nahdet Berkane in the African Super Cup.
