Biographer Andrew Morton claims journalist Martin Bashir would have warned Princess Diana that “they” would kill her. He does this in a new documentary on the British Channel 4 that will be broadcast on Monday evening.

Bashir allegedly showed Diana a bank statement linked to security services when he talked about the threat.
The new allegations come at a time when the BBC has launched an independent investigation into Bashir’s 1995 interview with Princess Diana. Bashir was previously accused of spreading stories about Diana’s friends and staff in order to gain her trust and that he had shown her false bank statements.
After all the stories and suggestions from Bashir, Diana would have been terrified.
Andrew Morton wrote a biography of Diana called Diana: Her True Story in 1993. After her death in 1997 he released a new edition called Diana: Her True Story in Her Own Words.
