Paris FC, leader of Ligue 2, and Grenoble, his runner-up, neutralized each other (0-0) in the opening match of the 12th day on Saturday, preserving the status quo at the top of the standings, while Troyes climbed to 3rd place. If Grenoble had control of the game until the 70th minute, the Parisians clearly gained the upper hand the last twenty minutes, but came up against one of the best defenses in the championship.

Paris FC remains in the lead (26 pts) and keeps four points ahead of Grenoble, who played one game less. In the other meetings of the day, Troyes climbed on the podium thanks to a victory against Amiens (2-1) after a game dominated from start to finish. L’Estac double Caen, who failed to win against Châteauroux (1-1), a team yet located at the bottom of the standings (15th). Taking advantage of this draw, Toulouse returned to the race for Ligue 1, after beating Niort (2-1), a little earlier. Téfécé is now 7th (19 pts) two points off the podium.

The card of the evening came from Sochaux, who crushed Le Havre (4-0), thanks, in particular, to a double from his striker Chris Bédia, and behind Toulouse. Unable to win against Valenciennes (1-1), Auxerre can still boast of having scored the goal of this 12th day of Ligue 2: the free kick 25 meters from his attacking midfielder Mathias Autret plunged into the skylight of the cages guarded by Jérôme Prior. In a meeting already crucial for the maintenance, Ajaccio and Chambly were unable to decide (0-0) and remain respectively 16th and 20th.
