Latvian hockey player Deniss Smirnovs successfully played in the game of the Swiss Premier League (NLA) on Friday in a victory against Rapersville “Jona Lakers”.

Smirnov’s Geneva “Servette” won the “Jon Lakers” at home with 1: 0 (1: 0, 0: 0, 0: 0).
The striker successfully scored in the 17th minute of the first period, when the long-time player of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) Linus Umarks scored the victory goal. Ulmarks is the most successful hockey player of the championship.
Defender Sandis Smons was not found in the “Servette” application.
The highest of the Latvian teams in the championship is “Laussane” represented by Ronalds Ķēniņš, who can be found in the second place with 25 points in 11 games. Servette, who is in fifth place, has three points less in 12 matches, but Langnau Tigers are in 11th place with 11 points in 11 games.
Last season, the NLA tournament ended after a regular championship, so for the second time in history and for the first time since 1940, the Swiss champion in hockey was not crowned.
