this message is enough to empty it in a few

It is nothing new for users that phishing attempts on current accounts become more and more numerous, especially with the growing digitization of daily activities and the entry into the tech universe of many citizens who previously would not have known how to interact correctly with computer media.

The greater use of internet services by the general public was accompanied by considerable pressure from the hacker and the bad guys, who are harassing many users with e-mails in order to make them fall into the trap of phishing.

But what is it exactly? The phishing constitutes an illegal practice by which some hackers manage to pretend to be a well-known service – usually belonging to the banking world, such as the Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo, BNL, Postepay brands – and to make customers believe that they have to carry out transactions on their account, under penalty of the closure of the same or the block of incoming credits.

Phishing, beware of this type of email: they can empty your account in seconds

Of course, these are pretexts to deceive the user, and subsequently induce him to click on a link in the same email to access his account and restore the situation. The link in question redirects to an authentication page very similar to the original ones, almost indistinguishable; in reality, however, filling in the username and password fields sends this information directly to the hackers, who can then exploit it to empty your account in seconds.

The advice, therefore, is to always check the email address in full from which such communications come, and verify the correspondence with i official contacts of the interest bank.
