Dead cat in bag with stones on it | Inland

The bag was found in the water near the Bilderddijkkade near the Kwakerstraat, not far from the Red Light District. In the bag, officers found a dead, presumably white, cat. “The bag was weighted with several stones.”

The environmental team of the metropolitan police is investigating the case and is looking for witnesses and persons who may recognize the bag in the photo.

On Tuesday evening, a dead dog was found under a viaduct near Maarssen in a box with electrical wires. There was also stone on it to weigh things down.
