The Public Prosecution Service (OM) on Thursday filed a claim with the National Assembly (DNA) for indicting the former political office holder, Ashwin Adhin.
According to the Public Prosecution Service, the proceedings of indictment with DNA must be started. The claim lists criminal offenses, as the criminal investigation has shown, says the OM in a press release.
The Public Prosecution Service asks that DNA decides on the prosecution of ex-vice president Adhin.
Adhin and three others, Vijendra R., Amien D. and Ramon K., were arrested earlier this month for complicity in forgery, embezzlement and destruction of media equipment belonging to the state of Suriname.
