Due to all the hectic surrounding Forum for Democracy, Thierry Baudet is in the news more than ever this week. Beau had the honor of hosting the high-profile politician on his talk show. Angela doesn’t quite understand that choice. She would like to crawl into his head for a moment. “See how it works in there, what he really thinks.”
Angela is curious about what is behind Baudet’s choice. “Cold calculation because RTL viewers have the most potential Forum voters, the assumption that non-journalist Beau van Erven Dorens will not make it too difficult for him?” she wonders.

Still, the country’s most feared reviewer thinks Beau did the interview with Thierry just fine. “I was afraid this job would be a bit too big for him,” Angela writes. She believes that Beau’s strength does not lie in the harsh, confrontational interview. Still, the talk show host surprised her. “He was well prepared and clearly intended to be strict.”
The only mistake Beau made, in Angela eyes, is thanking Baudet at the end for coming. “Of course there was nothing brave about that. The foreman of Forum is merely calculating. If he benefits from publicity, he will come.”
