LIVE | Germany bans fireworks in large squares because of corona | Inland

Germany forbids fireworks on large squares at the turn of the year. Furthermore, the authorities will call on the population to avoid the use entirely this year, so as not to burden the hospitals further during this corona time.

The government in Berlin and the sixteen states agreed on this during their latest consultations on the corona crisis. They decided to further relax the corona measures around the holidays. From 23 December to 1 January at the latest, gatherings in close family or friendship circles are permitted for a maximum of ten people, excluding children up to 14 years of age.
