Pep Guardiola extend the contract on Manchester City until the next 2023. Is it for the Champions League title?
Pep Guardiola already served as a manager Manchester City Since 2016. He has presented the championship trophy twice in the Premier League, once in the FA Cup and three times in the Carling Cup.
Recently, the man from Spain extended his contract until June 30, 2023. Does he want to win a trophy that he has not yet won for City, namely the Champions League trophy?
“It’s not my obsession,” said Guardiola as reported Mirror.

Pep Guardiola added that he only wanted to bring Manchester City to the best possible performance. Even the Champions League title, it has long been ‘lost’ from his grasp.
Guardiola has won the Champions League twice with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011. Guardiola has always failed in the quarter-finals during the last three seasons with Manchester City.
“I always say every season, we will try our best. We always almost qualify for the next round,” he explained.
