A new series of photomontages

  • In 2015, for the 7th episode of Star Wars, photographer Nicolas Amiard created amazing photomontages featuring stranded spaceships in New York. The Awakening the Force was the occasion for unusual and funny images!
  • Five years later, Nicolas Amiard presents a new series of still surprising images. Here are the X-Wing fighters flying over the Statue of Liberty and the beaches of Santa Monica, while an Imperial cruiser hovers over Alcatraz Island, San Francisco …

Star Wars and the Covid-19 crisis …

  • Why this new series of photomontages, when no new Star Wars episode has been released? Nicolas Amiard explains that the idea was inspired by the coronavirus crisis. “We had to defend ourselves against the global attack of a virus that forced us to stay locked up at home,” he says, “This inspired me to a new series of Star Wars visuals and the analogy that we can do this by integrating vessels into our world ”.
