In mid-December, the electoral college must formally appoint Joe Biden as the next president. At the beginning of January, the new Congress should then ratify that choice. On January 20, Joe Biden will take the oath as the 46th president of the US.
Theoretically, Trump could continue to legally challenge the case to the Supreme Court, but the odds are very slim that he would win there, especially since his lawyers have so far been unable to provide evidence of the “widespread fraud” the president says is. Also the chief justices appointed by him will probably not take the risk not only against the voters (six million more votes for Biden), but also the federal states with their electors / women.
President Trump now seems to realize this too. For example, his government – albeit with much delay – last night gave the government agencies permission to support the transition to the Joe Biden government.
