Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek, confirmed that the white team is able to overtake any team in Egypt, noting that the recent results give him confidence before facing Al-Ahly in the final match of the African Champions League next Friday.
“Zamalek is able to beat any team in Egypt and it is in full focus. It has distinguished players and I hope it will win in the final match of the African Champions League,” Mido said in televised statements on “Zamalek” channel, Monday evening.
The former coach added to Al-Abyad: “The match against Al-Ahly will be difficult, but Zamalek’s recent results give him more confidence in the meeting. Psychological preparation is important from the technical managers of the two clubs as well as the major players in the two teams.”
He concluded, “There are many factors that will decide who will win the match, but the losing team must congratulate the winning team. The competition is natural, but after the match the players must shake hands with each other and I hope it will be a special match.”
