iPhone 12 Pro Max teardown shows hefty parts
This is evident from the teardown of the iPhone 12 Pro Max that by iFixit has been put online. During a so-called teardown, a smartphone is completely disassembled so that we know what parts it contains.

The gigantic camera module is particularly striking. The 12 Pro Max, for example, has by far the largest camera sensors ever and can therefore receive a lot of light. According to Apple, this means the largest iPhone ever delivers up to 80 percent better photos in low light, simply because the sensors have more room to collect light.
In addition, iFixit made an X-ray scan of the camera module. This shows, among other things, that Apple has applied four magnets around the wide-angle lens. These magnets allow the lens to move slightly, compensating for possible hand vibrations during shooting.
Furthermore, the battery shape of the iPhone 12 Pro Max falls. With a little imagination it looks a bit like the letter L. The ‘normal’ 12 Pro has a more rectangular battery. All in all, iFixit gives the iPhone 12 Pro Max a ‘repairability rating’ of 6, just as high as the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro in iPhone 12 mini.
