We are almost there, November 26, 2020 is the date on which Kymco will present its new products for next year. But what should we expect? The company has started to anticipate something: a first teaser video announced the arrival of a new scooter, a model also designed to exit the asphalt. It is therefore likely that, also given the success obtained on the market by the X-ADV, Kymco wants to enter a fight in what appears to be a growing segment. Then came a second video, which shows us that among the novelties there will also be a three-wheeled scooter. We think that both will be developed on the technical basis ofAK 550, with its 550 cc horizontal twin-cylinder engine.
And now the Taiwanese house has released a new video. The latter reveals the arrival of an electric vehicle, but, unfortunately, it is not the futuristic green motorcycle RevoNex, but from what little you see it would seem more like a maxi scooter. We say this because, in one frame of the video, you can see the silhouette of a vehicle with legroom in the rear shield, and not the lines of a sports bike. Kymco’s new electric maxiscooter will then have belt drive, full LED headlights with a sporty design and color digital instrumentation. The latter reveals that there will be several engine maps and Bluetooth connectivity. The batteries, on the other hand, will be positioned under the frame. In order to keep the center of gravity of the vehicle as low as possible.
