New Skoda Octavia RS joins the police – Motor

Since the Skoda Octavia RS will serve in a regular unit, the car differs from the “civilian” liftbacks only in its characteristic yellow-blue livery, the presence of a signal-voice device, LED flashing lights and strobe lights, and a communication system. Perhaps, in the future, Octavia RS will be equipped with complexes for photo and video recording of violations and other special equipment.

Under the hood of the fourth-generation police Octavia RS is a 245-horsepower (370 Nm) 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine, a 7-speed “robot” gearbox, and a front axle drive. Factory options include matrix LED optics, advanced multimedia system with a 10-inch touchscreen, heated seats and adaptive cruise control.
