“It is a form of self-pity, it makes little sense,” said Prinsen. The 78-year-old actor says that he is not doing badly. “I have had most of the crying spells. The ice I walk on is getting thicker again, I might put it that way. ”
Joost emphasizes that it does not mean that he does not miss his deceased wife. “Sometimes I catch myself scolding her, as if she’s just there,” he says.
Grieving process
Just before his wife died, the actor was surprised. Emma turned out to have been putting money aside for years, something she had never told her husband before. “She was much more sensible with money. And so that suddenly became € 78,000. A power of God. ”
