Xbox Series S Review – Conclusie

I think this is indeed very much forgotten.

I have the X myself and have the necessary games on the console itself, but I also have a 4TB hanging on it with a lot of games on it. At some point, am I reasonably done with a game and do I need space, can I either delete it or (temporarily) move it.
In the case of Xbox One games, it is absolutely no need to save them on the console itself. Yes loading times are more fun with an SSD, but for those few times it is really not an issue.

We are also used to this from the PC. Of course I have been running on an SSD for years and sometimes want to install games on it, but even then I look at the type of game that I put on it. Many loading times in between? On the SSD. Few loading times or short loading times, on the HDD.

That the consoles are on an SSD is a good thing, but it is still very expensive, especially when you consider that games are getting bigger, so it is up to everyone to determine which amount is appropriate for which experience.

I would also say above all, if you don’t like the new consoles yet, don’t buy them.
I had a One S so the progress is great for me, I have a 4K TV, so all in all is a big improvement. Also have 3 years game pass for 1 euro (now 1 year passed), so I get plenty of it. But at the same time you have to see it as a PC upgrade, it is faster, nicer, etc., but you still play the same games, and will remain so for the time being, both with the Xbox and the PS.
