The Smart Health Hackathon started in Prague. 40 teams of hackers will solve challenges in healthcare – Živě.cz

This weekend will take place Smart Health Hackathon Prague. The unique event aims to attract software developers to put their heads together and try to solve some of the functionalities currently needed in the medical field. The hackathon attracted dozens of participants, waiting for 10 challenges. They have a weekend to deal with.

10 Challenges for the Smart Health Hackathon

1. Software for collateral blood flow analysis

2. An application that uses photography to analyze skin damage

3. Optimization of machine learning algorithm used by magnetic resonance 31P

4. Software for monitoring unwanted patient movements in the intensive care unit

5. Application for identification and tracking of unusual cases of COVID

6. Streamlining the system for evaluating patients suitable for HARPOON

7. Raising awareness of aortic stenosis

8. Early prediction of low cardiac output and low mixed venous oxygen saturation

9. Development of an algorithm for the identification of patients with acute heart failure.

10. Home device for recognizing drugs that the patient is taking.

The hackathon began this morning with introduces challenges, mentors, and team building. The actual work on the projects will take place in a row from 14:00 for the next two weekend days. The expert jury will announce the winner on Sunday at 4.30 pm. The Minister of Health Jan Blatný will also take part in the ceremony.
