Jakarta, Selular.ID – Recently, a number of iPhone 12 mini users experienced problems the first time using it.
Even Apple and Reddit forums report that the iPhone 12’s touch screen is partially unresponsive when it’s locked. Users will have a hard time not only launching the camera or flashlight, but even swiping up to unlock using their thumbs.
Even though it was late in responding, Apple seemed to be aware of it, reported the Verge, Apple released iOS 14.2.1 which is currently only available for the iPhone 12 series.
Part of the change that’s part of the update is addressing the touch screen with the iPhone 12 mini.
Interestingly again, how this is a software problem as some have speculated that it might be a hardware problem.
Several things offer the theory that there might be some kind of grounding problem where the touch screen will work if they touch the case while touching the screen and it will work.
Other theories offer other theories such as how a case or screen protector acts as insulation for the phone.

Users hope that this update will solve the problems that occur when downloading it.
This iOS update is currently being pushed out so users should be able to download it.
