The government is not aiming for a postponement of Black Friday bargain day. Economy Minister Pierre-Yves Dermagne (PS) announced this Friday evening.

Initially, the government’s intention was to postpone Black Friday, following the example of France. To this end, the minister contacted the major digital players. Trade federation Comeos soon announced that it would not like the postponement. At online store Bol.com, Black Friday had already started and the promotion will last a week, the online shop said.
