LONDON, KOMPAS.com – Prince William welcomes the research called BBC, to find out how the British broadcaster got his mother’s interview, Princess Diana, in 1995.
The interview became controversial because Princess Diana revealed her internal problems in her marriage with Prince Charles.
BBC accused of tricking Princess Diana into getting these personal stories.

The investigation, which began on Wednesday (11/18/2020), was led by a former UK Supreme Court judge.
“An independent investigation is the right move,” William said in the statement quoted Kompas.com from Reuters.
“That will help uncover the truth behind the actions that led to the program interview Panorama, and subsequent decisions taken by those at BBC at that time, “he continued.
During Princess Diana’s interview with journalist Martin Bashir, she surprisingly confessed to her affair and exposed a personal story about her failed household with Prince Charles.

Reuters proclaimed, the interview was watched by more than 20 million viewers in “Queen Elizabeth Country”.
This month Charles Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother, said, BBC did not apologize for what he said were forged documents and other hoaxes that led him to take Diana to Bashir.
director General BBC Davies’ team said the broadcaster would investigate Spencer’s claim.

Other people involved in the program also said BBC cover up the mistakes.
Until now Bashir has not commented on the allegations, and BBC said the world-famous journalist after his interview with Diana was on sick leave, recovering from heart surgery and contracting Covid-19.
Research from BBC will focus on five questions about how Bashir obtained interviews with Princess Diana, including payments to members of the British Royal family.
