Next year, the people of Latvia will be stronger than last year – our situation will be better than entering the crisis caused by Covid-19, President Egils Levits told the Latvian Television program “Morning Panorama” on the morning of the national holiday.
The President emphasized that we are a resilient nation that can withstand various difficulties. They are unique to each generation, and our generation must withstand the current constraints.
“Next year we will be stronger than before. And our situation will be better than entering the crisis. We will definitely achieve that!” said Levit.
He emphasized that we were a patriotic nation, otherwise we would not have our own country. Despite the gloomy times and limitations, Levite called for bright thoughts about life, his loved ones, the people, and the country.
Next year we will be stronger than before. And our situation will be better than entering the crisis. We will definitely achieve that.
On public holidays, the president calls for those in isolation to speak longer than usual.
“And all together, so that our country would be better than last year. And this every year again,” stressed Levits.
