Bertelsmann Stiftung is looking for
Project Manager (m / f / d) early childhood education
About us
The Bertelsmann Foundation is one of the largest operational foundations in Europe. It is a non-profit organization that, in the tradition of its founder Reinhard Mohn, is committed to a sustainable society.
The aim of the Effective Investment in Education program is to enable all children to grow up well and to have fair educational and participation opportunities. To this end, we develop concepts and control instruments for early childhood education and family policy. The core target groups are politics, administration, sponsors and associations at federal, state and local level.
Good day-care centers can improve and secure educational and participation opportunities. However, the current shortage of skilled workers requires new solutions so that there are sufficient and qualified staff in all daycare centers. For a professional ECEC system, it is important to further develop the quality, also with the participation of professionals and parents. Our project Early childhood education develops proposals for action for this purpose.

- Development of reform concepts together with the project team for a larger supply of daycare specialists and a nationwide training system
- Control of a KiTa specialist committee for the development of position papers
- Participation in the conception and implementation of quantitative and qualitative studies on the above topics and subsequent publications
- Media and target group-oriented preparation and communication of work results to specialist target groups and the broader public
- Development of communication concepts and participation in the implementation, especially in social media
Our requirements
- Successfully completed studies in social or educational sciences or childhood education
- Proven in-depth knowledge of quantitative and / or qualitative research methods
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education policy and ECEC stakeholder landscape
- Differentiated knowledge of the training landscape as well as the situation of skilled workers in ECEC
- Proven conceptual strength, result-oriented, independent action
- High analytical skills and holistic thinking
