A playground suitable for everyone
The play area for the little ones will be set up in the open space in front via delle Chiglie and will consist essentially of two large structures: urban climbing and free play.
L’climbing, which will unfold on an area of over 30 square meters, will be suitable for children aged 8 to 15. This element, as stated in the project, thanks to its geometric shape and impressive size, it will attract children of all ages like a magnet. Climbing is a popular sport that tests strength and coordination.
The goal is also to give maximum freedom to the children’s imagination so as to be able to create new games and special paths around the structure from time to time, going beyond the individual limits of each child and will also act as a meeting place with friends. With the semblance of “modern sculpture”, climbing fits well into urban environments that already characterize the waterfront.
The other structure will be that of the so-called “Free game” which will unfold on an area of approximately 46 square meters. Suitable for children aged 6 to 12, it is a tool suitable for everyone, regardless of the physical abilities of each. In this way it is possible to unleash the gaming fantasy of adolescents and pre-adolescents in a free and different way.
