(wS/red) Siegen-Wittgenstein 16.11.2020 | KfW interim balance sheet: Corona aid of over 925 million euros for companies in our region
Nezahat Baradari, the SPD member of the Bundestag for the constituency “Olpe – Märkischer Kreis I” with the support constituency Siegerland, sees the interim balance of the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) for the promotion of companies in the Corona crisis as a strong signal for the region: “Overall From the beginning of the Corona crisis to September 30, 2020, more than 1,200 domestic companies received loans totaling around 925 million euros. Around 140 million euros of this went to the Olpe district, around 561 million euros to the Märkische Kreis and over 224 million euros to Siegen-Wittgenstein, ”explains the MP.
Nezahat Baradari makes it clear that “these numbers may sound astronomical at first, but the loans are extremely important for the many small and medium-sized companies in our region. Right now, in the middle of the second wave of infections, we must spare no expense or effort in order to secure jobs and offer people less worried prospects. For employees in gastronomy, the hotel industry, the cultural sector, in service and many other sectors, nothing less than existence is important. We are allowed to and we will therefore leave no stone unturned in order to help people. “
As early as June, Baradari received an initial overview of the aid loans from KfW.
