The woman and her children, aged three and seven, were kidnapped from Amsterdam-Noord on December 31 and taken to a house in Almere. There the mother is said to have been seriously abused. She would have been hit with a gun to her head and knee and poured over boiling water. Her children were elsewhere in the house at the time. The woman has stated that the men suspect that she stole $ 100,000 from one of them and was therefore kidnapped.
Police managed to free the woman and her children on January 1. A total of five firearms and approximately 200,000 euros in cash were found and seized among the suspects. The OM therefore suspects a 23-year-old rapper from Lelystad of money laundering. A few suspects, who are part of the rap scene in Amsterdam Southeast, are still in custody.
The court is allocating two days for the case, possibly three. The first day is largely devoted to discussing the file. On Tuesday, the criminal demands will be discussed in the requisitory of the public prosecutor and the lawyers will also give their pleas.
